About us
KOVÁRNA a.s. is a company with long-standing experience in the manufacture of open-die and closed-die forgings, rolled rings and heat treatment of carbon and alloy steels. Our universal forge equipment and our employees’ experience allow us to offer our customers a wide range of forgings, from single pieces to small and medium series. Semi-finished products for the machine engineering, energy, chemicals and food industries have been produced at the company’s existing facility since 1962.
Our goal
Our company’s goal is to continue to strengthen our position on the Central European market for forged and rolled parts. We want to deepen our cooperation with customers, not just delivering parts for demanding applications but getting involved in problem solving in the development and construction of equipment, leveraging our metallurgical experience to ensure that solutions are successfully developed before production even starts.
We are confident that our long-term cooperation with our customers and understanding of their requirements will enable us to optimize the parameters of their products and enhance their overall competitiveness.
Our philosophy
We see the key to success in the long-term and systematic development of every part of our company. In response to our customers’ requirements, we invest in expanding our technological capabilities and production capacities, hand-in-hand with the constant modernization of our existing plant. As part of our endeavour to be a trusted and stable employer, we work to improve our employees’ qualifications. We are constantly on the lookout for ways to achieve savings in material and energy costs. We place supreme importance on collaborating with research organizations and universities on research and development projects. We focus on demanding materials with specific technological requirements, processing techniques and a high degree of finalization.
