ZVU Kovárna a.s. is one of the Czech commerce forge with experience in open die forgings, die forgings and ring-rolling, also experienced in heat treatment of low alloy also high alloy steel. Company production made under quality system ISO 9001 is pointed to the customers in machinery and chemical industry.
The company ZVU Kovárna a.s. was founded in 1995. Its production activity continued in more than one hundred years tradition of manufacturing of forged semi-products for machinery, power, chemical and food industry. Up to the foundation of a new company the forge used to be part of the Skoda Works and ZVU Company.
ZVU Kovárna a.s. manufactures and delivers smith forgings, die forgings and rolled rings. The forge is also a manufacturer and a supplier of connecting pipe parts and flanges. Wide range of materials – i.c. carbon steel, low, middle and high alloyed steel and also in limited range, high alloy steels, are processed. The material is processed according to the CSN, DIN, ANSI or other foreign materials. Forgings are delivered in heat treated state according to the customers demand as forged, rough or finally machined.
In the connection with increasing demands of customers on deliveries in a steadily high quality, the ISO 9001 system was implemented in the company in 1998. This system has been audited by RWTÜV Prague. To ensure the final acceptance inspection of the products, especially for shipping industry, the company has been certified by Bureau Veritas, Lloyd´s Register of Shipping, Det Norske Veritas and RWTÜV. In accordance with customers demand the products are certified acc. to the EN 10204/2.2, 2.3, 3.1 and 3.2. The test certificates are parts of the shipping documentation.
